The preferences can opened with the corresponding icon in the toolbar menu.

You can also use the menu.

General

In the preferences you can select the default language for the text recognition and define if sounds should be played for certain messages. With the slider you can set the volume.

OCR

Here you can install or delete languages. A deleted language can be reinstalled at any time. To install a language you need an active connection to the Internet.
